This Kenyan campaign, aiming to curb speeding, was launched by the Mombasa County Government in collaboration with the National Transport and Safety Authority and the National Police Service. The campaign features true stories of road crash victims and family members with a call to slow down.
This PSA features the true story of Mary Wanja, a resident of Likoni, Mombasa, who shares her harrowing road crash experience as a result of a speeding Matatu driver, which left her husband, John, paralyzed.
This testimonial ran alongside Slow Down, Speeding Ruins Lives (Ruth’s Story).
