The Data for Health Initiative at Vital Strategies implements 60 gender equity projects across 36 countries worldwide.

Smart policies can reset the environment and reduce the health and social burden of alcohol. Reset Alcohol puts proven policies, technical expertise and financial resources at the fingertips of governments who are ready to act towards a healthier, more prosperous future.

The Cancer Registries Program, included under the Bloomberg Data for Health initiative, works with ministries of health and their partners to establish, strengthen and expand population-based cancer registries and use the data for policymaking.

Vital Strategies is an implementing partner of the Bloomberg Philanthropies Initiative for Global Road Safety (BIGRS), a consortium carrying out proven road safety interventions in 15 countries and 30 cities around the world.

Vital Strategies’ Data Impact Program collaborates with governments to expand the use of data to enhance public health planning and policy development.

Vital Strategies works closely with partners in Barbados, Brazil, Colombia, Jamaica and South Africa. We also support work in other countries including India and Ethiopia. Our work helps achieve healthy food policy goals through focused audience research, strategic communication and evaluation.

The Bangladesh government views civil registration and vital statistics (CRVS) as the foundation of rights, protections, entitlements and services from cradle to grave.

While birth and death registration has increased in Colombia over the past decade, disparities in registration remain among ethnic groups in geographically remote areas.

In Rwanda, complex CRVS regulations and registration procedures have hindered the access and expansion of the civil registration and vital statistics system to cover more of the country’s population.
