O consumo de bebidas alcoólicas representou um custo para o Brasil da ordem de R$ 18,8 bilhões em 2019. É o que aponta o estudo “Estimação dos Custos Diretos e Indiretos atribuíveis ao Consumo do Álcool no Brasil”, realizado pela Fiocruz a pedido das organizações Vital Strategies e ACT Promoção da Saúde como parte da iniciativa RESET Álcool.
